Thank you Joflier. It means a lot to me to hear from you. We are doing pretty well this week. I called her every night while I was loading my dishwasher and it sure is strange not doing that anymore. Take care.

I wanted to tell you too, I bought Dan''s Australian sapphire that he had on his sight. It is 1.79 He told me it is teal (which is my favorite color)

In day light it has flashes of green too. Should be really pretty.

Have you made any cakes lately, or is that over with now?? I don''t think I could take a class like that. I would have no willpower and would want to eat them afterward, ha ha ha ha ha.

Congratulations on your new stone. I LOVED it when he posted it - I have a montana sapphire ring that has teal stones and I thought it would be pretty with that ring as a pendant. What are you going to do with your new treasure? I can''t wait to see it when you get it. Dan really does a great job cutting his stones.

I am done with cakes for now. I don''t care for frosting so that is why I was able to resist most of my cakes. The last ones though I tried one piece of each. I did scrape the frosting off though. Cookies are my major weakness. We will probably make cakes now and then just for fun but I am glad to be finished with spending one day each week getting everything mixed, baked and ready for class.

I am sure the boys are having a blast on spring break. Mine was 2 weeks ago now. Just remember when the boys are rascals it''s a good thing they are cute.

I love whipped cream on sundaes, gingerbread and waffles.

The fat free cool whip just isn''t the same.

What is the mm size on your stone? It is so pretty. I bet it will be amazing in sunlight.

Linda, I was going to guess the stone was 8 x 6.That is a great size.The color looks amazing too.I can’t wait to hear what you think of it and what you will plan on doing with it.

We probably won’t go camping until late May.I am looking forward to it though.It is so relaxing for us to just get away and enjoy the stars. You''ll probably be able to go camping before we will thaw out.

Here is my montana sapphire ring - it''s from the yogo mines. It''s the second one on the right. The stones are 3.5mm each and the band has the 3 rows of channel set diamonds. When we were in Montana this summer I looked for studs to match but most of the earrings I found were very included or poorly cut. The teal stone on the left is an irradiated blue diamond.

Thanks Linda. I really like the sapphire ring. I have quite a few sweaters that are teal. You know I have to color coordinate clothes and rings. I hope to get earrings and a pendant some day that match.

I saw in some posts that Dan has adjusted his monitor so his photos are more true to life color and darkness. Hopefully your gemstones will be just right.

I did see his new stones today and love the spessartite. The tourmaline and spinels look great too.

I will look forward to our camping, chit chat and admiring each others rings. That would be so much fun!

Hi Harriet. I am doing fine thanks. How are you? I have been amusing myself by shopping for an EC diamond and looking at rings for it. That is ALWAYS FUN!!! I am hoping the diamond I am interested in isn''t sold because if it isn''t, I will probably buy it. If it is sold, I will go looking for another one.

Maybe I will get an EC gemstone instead. I can afford a bigger one of those.

How are your jewelry projects coming along? The class I teach has been keeping me busy, plus hanging out on PS and chatting on forums in SparkPeople is fun. Take care my PS friend.

Harriet, I love this setting but since I am shopping for a 1/2 ct. EC (my price range mostly) I think this ring would be overpowering with the diamond. A larger EC gemstone would be stunning with it though. It may not take an EC stone anyway.

Hi Harriet. If I found something I really liked I would have to ask them if it was possible to mount it; I agree it looks like it would only fit a square which I am sure I can find. I really like how different the ring is but I thought it would be gorgeous for a gemstone. We had to buy a new TV this weekend (and of course we went crazy and bought a big one) so my jewelry money is depleted for a few weeks. Rats. That''s okay though I am loving the TV.

Thank you, Linda. I had been putting off going to the dermatologist for awhile but once one of those spots started bleeding I knew it was time to go.

Isn''t it a pain being allergic to adhesives. Those rashes from it are awful, my skin just starts getting raw. I bought some hypoallergenic bandages by Curad. They are working much better.

I am up too late tonight but can sleep in hopefully tomorrow. We went to Denver today. I found my EC diamond and had it put in a solitaire ring.

I have been taking pictures of it tonight. We got Marty a watch on the way home. I told him we are done for year now while I pay those bills off.

I hope you sleep well too. Take care. When are the boys finished with school? I have 3 more weeks off before the summer semester starts.
