Malaya garnet ring

Here are some photos of the ring I had made by Brian Gavin Diamonds. This is the stone that unfortunately now has a tiny chip. The color of the stone is wonderful. The photos do not do the stone justice. In fact, the photos don''t really look like the color the stone really is. The stone is very clean. If little white lines show up, I don''t know what they are.

I seem to have gotten rid of the professional pictures BGD sent me and I don't have a side view of the actual ring at the moment. (it I get a chance I'll take one) But here are the CADS which do show the side view. The ring has the WF legato head.

What a beautiful ring! It reminds me of a vera wang ring that I have seen before. I love this setting with the twisting detail on the shank, it is gorgeous!

Yes, it does kind of sit high on the finger. I think I will just have to be extra careful when I wear this that I don''t bang it against somethig. It is a really neat setting. I like it a lot.

Yes, I think it probably would. I did not think of that when I had the ring made. I will say I got quotes from Whiteflash and BGD and BGD was $600 less! Even though the stone got chipped, I think I''d use them again.

Oh Cind, it''s beautiful in real life. GOD I WANT ONE OF GENE''S STONES. They are truly works of art. Despite the chip, I do hope you will love it and enjoy it.

I do think I would have integrated the BGD Truth the head into the shank too, in retrospect. It''s funny, I either love or hate the shanks that X like that, but I just love yours. It''s like Woo''s setting right?
