I love the house! The roof line on the left side is great, and all those windows! Fabulous.

I love ranch homes, they are so inviting.

It is immaculate inside, with no need to paint or anything. New carpet, ceramic floor tile, and light/ceiling fan fixtures throughout. We are offering about 6000.00 under their asking price because the kitchen and bathrooms, while in good shape, are not recently remodeled. And we all know how expensive those jobs can be. It does have a fairly new roof and A/C system.

It has a very interesting brick wall in the living room, with arched doorways leading on one side to the master suite, and one side to the other BRs & BA. Nice big laundry room, with room to put the cat litter box and food out of sight (and smell) of the kitchen. (Hallelujah!)

It is in a great neighborhood, with a horse pasture across the street! Very bucolic view from the front; and a patio that can be accessed from the kitchen and master bedroom. Beamed cathredal ceiling in the family room, floor to ceiling brick fireplace with raised hearth, a built in oak bookshelf, and two huge bathrooms with dual sink vanities. Large windows in every room; an abundance of natural light was one of our ''must haves''.

It isn''t glamorous, or new; it has features not everyone wants, but this is the first one we''ve looked at that we can see ourselves in. We both hate ''cookie cutter'' homes. This was built more about 29 years ago as a custom home. It''s probably the only one of its type and floor plan in the area.

We''ll keep you posted!

Awesome, Holly!

I also love ranches! It looks beautiful on the outside. Can''t wait to see it inside!

Good Luck!

We are renting from one of my oldest friends. It was his family home back in the 70''s and 80''s. He completely remodeled it for us as a wedding present after his brother retired and moved away.

Congrats Holly!

Best of luck Holly!

I love the curb appeal of the house!

Thanks! Actually, I think it looks better in person than in the photo. The photo looks *almost* like one of those computer generated thingies!

VERY EXCITING!!!

Lots of house dust outgoing! For a second I was thinking ... wow, you lucked out too ... by the time you move in the whole season of grass-mowing will be almost over. Then I remembered you're in Texas. Ah well ...
