IMG_0538.JPG IMG_0453.jpg I dug up this gold signet ring from an old cavalry camp on the Arizona Mexico border. the ring is 14k and has a CS makers mark on the inside body. can anyone out there tell me the maker, city of maker, etc. thank you

Maybe a local antiques store that sells jewellery might have one or be able to point you in the right direction?

The bad news is CS is a hallmark used in jewellery from England, China and India (and probably other places as well). Try googling hallmark search engine and go through as many as you can you might get lucky and find it.

This is an awesome find. It looks to be in good shape, except for the break.
Being that it's antique, you may never find the manufacturer. I'd say circa 1860s-1900.
I'd have it repaired and wear it! I love the shield detail in the shoulders.
