Make my own earrings with Chris CZ?

I was browsing and got inspired by some photos of the OEC and Old Mine cuts from Chris CZ (especially the prices...whew)! I wanted to make dangle earrings with 4 ctw (8mm each) OECs. I wanted to use a gold-filled hook where the CZ can freely articulate like the examples below, but I can't figure out what to call or where to find the actual gem setting that would be attached to this. I have seen pendant settings but I think the bails look too large for earrings. Does anyone know where to find a setting for the gem itself to attach to a hook or leverback?

I just got 5 of his stones in! I got 2 of the champagne pillow cushion, having 1 in white and one in rose gold. All rings though. All the stones are pretty!! My old mine cut is 10.5mm. Then here is a ring I got today with tinted ovals, it’s very pretty!! Do you know how to make your own after you get the stones? I’m using an Etsy sellers settings for mine and she is setting my stones. Maybe search ear rings setting on Etsy and message sellers to see if they set your stones.

Thanks for sharing the pix! They look great. I saw you baked one of them. Do you recommend that for the Chris CZ? And Shantastic is setting them? I don’t know how to set mine but I got some super cheap silver settings that I figured I’d be able to work with and just set with small pliers. I didn’t want to spend too much since this is just an experiment.

She is setting all of mine, except one. It looks like she only has stud settings. She has oec 7.5mm for $96. You can definitely get your stones from him cheaper if you can make your own.

Yes, I bought three 8mm OECs in the warm color. I’m going to try to do earrings and a pendant.

I really like them! I think I’m going to order some more—MRBs in canary yellow to replace some really dull CZs that I have currently set in yellow gold.
