Eric has them, but they're too pricey for me for the quality I want, so I may just skip this quest for a while.

So sorry abou this TL. I'm currently saving up for a Swala Mahenge as well so I have to avoid getting sidetracked by other gemstones.

The problem is that I have not found anything elsewhere that looks as good or better for his pricepoint.

Yes you''re probably right Chrono. The vendor got back to me, and the Mahenges are going back tomorrow.

Well, I finally got my refund from MC.com. However, he charged me a 3% restocking fee because of my "high rate of returns" (this is the second thing I returned). He also does not refund shipping costs (yours or his). Therefore, if you buy anything from him, it costs a lot to ship it back from from the United States (around $25 for the way he recommends you shipt it back). He also does not want you to insure the package, so he doesn't have to pay customs fees. Therefore, shipping these stones back was pretty scary for me. Well, I'm glad I got the bulk of my money back at least.

Just something to note if you want to buy something from them.

Well, I'm glad I finally got my refund, good timing as this will help pay for the spess. However, between the 3% restocking fee, my shipping and handling back and forth, I'm proabably out $100 due to this transaction. Lesson learned.

I have never been refunded shipping costs, both the vendor’s and/or mine, and I do think this is standard practice. The 3% restocking fee sucks though.

I understand that, but it costs more for S&H overseas than domestic, so it''s something to note. I had it sent to me by FedEx which was $30 as well. I could have done it the cheaper way, but that takes two weeks.

Ouch TL! Sorry that you are so much out of pocket and that the stones didn''t work out for you. I really liked the sleepy one you had. Thanks for the heads up.
