WOW, what a beauty!!! Stats please and where did you get it?

Oh goodness it's beautiful, and fantastic photographs!

pretty!!! is that the Gene spinel? :)

It's beautiful! I've got this one's "ugly" sister  .

I'd like to order some of those plants please :naughty:

Thank you Porridge!
Yes Forte this is the one from Gene last sunday. I did well the previous sunday too  / :saint: !
Babynurse, given their family, even the ugly sister is an international glamourpuss!
Minous I wish I could get more of these plants too!
Brightice, it is a 1.18 mahenge spinel from Precisiongem. I think it is 5.8mm

Sorry they're not the best pictures of the stone. I got caught up in the styling and composition more. I will get better pictures of the stone's coloring later. Gene's picture was right on.

edit: but loading it to PS lost A LOT of the color and saturation just now. So the following picture is quite washed out .

HI:

Whoa!

cheers--Sharon

You're right, VL. I doubt there's an ugly duckling in the lot. I sure was tempted to get another after seeing yours, though!

I really enjoy your photography, especially those flower pics :)) .

It's a beauty for sure. I have got to start watching his site closer :Up_to_something:

Ok these photos show the color more true, except for the dull flatness and brownishness that only got into the photos by the PS compression on upload. oh well.

Wow, it's glowing.

It will look gorgeous in yellow gold!

gorgeous gem and wonderful photos with the flowers, VL - very dramatic!

Wow! That is one gorgeous mahenge, congratulations. Nice vinca too!

Gorgeous spinel....everyone is jumping on the Mahenge train these days.

I agree that whenever I post any pictures on PS, the saturation of the picture takes a huge nosedive. Not sure what is going on there but it's something we all may have to live with for a long time. As for the stone, it looks very at home in the center of the flower. :))
