"Made by Hand" VS Handforged

No such thing as a dumb question - or is there?.....What the heck is the difference - if there is any - between a pave setting that is "Made by Hand" vs one that is "handforged" ?

Is a designer who has a handforged bench the same as one who creates handforged pave settings? Sorry if the questions sound dumb, just trying to get my facts straight!

As far as I understand hand forged means that's the jeweller will buy in rods of metal int eh correct alloy, and then work it into the correct size using rollers, then do all the shaping soldering cutting by hand.

Hand made can sometimes mean the above or, it means that the main ring was initially cast and then finished by hand.
