Mabe Pearl Ring Help

I think I want a pearl ring pretty badly (heck I KNOW I do). But I am a painter a sculpture, and quite clumsy, so I never got a traditional pearl ring because I would be terrified of damaging it. However I think if I got a Mabe pearl ring the lower profile would be better for me, and I just LOVE them anyways!

Anyone know good vendors for made pearls or pearl rings? I'd prefer the ring in either YG or silver, but I think I'd really like it in Silver. Aside from my Ering, wedding ring and 1 heirloom ring I primarily wear silver rings, so it would fit nicely!

I have a glorious SOC mabe ready to be made into a ring -- so I'll follow this thread with interest.

They both offer silver rings. If you don't see anything you like, Sarah from Kojima can probably customize one for you. You didn't mention the pearl type but you probably can't go wrong with a SOC mabe hence my first suggestion. :)

I think I;d definitely want a Soc, now I am wondering if I should see about a matching linked bracelet! OY!
 
If i were going for already made rings there are beautiful! I have to go with larger sizes because my fingers are outlandishly chubby for the rest of my body! Never blessed with elegant hands.

I love the play of colors in ring #1. But, I love green a lot. The other two are bluer, if that is your preferred color.

Douglas mentioned at the ruckus that they have a retail shop in Mexico where they sell Sea of Cortez pearl items to tourists. I'm thinking that these are rings on display in the shop. It looks like they pulled out the ones in the correct size onto the counter top and snapped a couple of pictures.

That's what I am thinking. Since I looked at their site for rings in my size (The hand this is going on has quite chubby fingers, so I needed a large size..... ah to be blessed with sausage fingers)

I like how they are real world photos. I wanted a ring that had more pink, but when I saw the green I fell in love!! I can save a pink Mabe for a pendant or brooch in the future. I would love to get some type of matching bracelet with linked pearls wrapped in silver in the near future too, so I also thought the green/peacock may be easier to match.
