Hey all!
Well, I have been holding out. I got the ring a couple weeks ago for my anniversary and haven't posted yet. <<hand slap>>
First of all, I have to say thank you to all of the help the PS community has given me throughout this process!!! Seriously, thank you!
I think I have posted a million times about this stone and how it is lovely but just not "the one"...you know not Mr. Right but Mr. Right Now. I still can't put my finger on why I am not totally in love, but that's okay...I am enjoying it enough until Adam finds me my perfect stone. I AM in love with the setting, however! I will say using all YG did add some color to the stone which only bothers me in certain lights (mostly outside on overcast days)..not because the stone has color but just because I prefer the look of contrast between the stone and the metal. When I do get me forever stone, if it is a lower color I would consider doing the entire basket in plat and the rest in YG...yes, I know I know...you all told me so. I am so stubborn sometimes.
Stats: 3.33 OEC, M, VS2 (9.4mm), ring is size 5.25. Stone and setting from OWD executed perfectly from a picture I drew.
