I was so excited to get the pics posted I didn't look at them, and now I see all the hair stuck on the ring...yuck!
Anyways, I also forgot some of the info so here it goes again.
Solitare is an H .83 RB eye clean SI 1 in WG
Wedding band diamonds are H and I SI 1 total .78( I think) in WG
All bought from a local jewler, no certs, but that doesn't matter to me, as long as I think it looks great (and it does!)
I love the rings and it sparkles and shines and does give off lots of fire, even though my poor photography doesn't show it.
My husband picked out the solitare himself and I picked out the wedding band.
I am getting irritated with having the bands separate, as my rings spin, but I don't want them resized because they fit well in summer. I was thinking about getting them soldered together, but I'm not sure. Now would be the perfect time to do it, because we are leaving on Friday for our honeymoon in Anguilla, and I could drop off my rings and pick them up when I get back (since I won't take them with me anyways)
Also- I'm a teacher and work with really young special needs children and my rings take quite a beating. I thought having them together would make it more stable and secure.
Any thoughts?
We were engaged in August 2008 and were married on Jan. 31st!
I agree, I don''t think I''d opt to get my rings soldered together. It is a matter of personal preference, but once it''s soldered you can''t wear them separate again if you ever wanted to.
Beautiful rings, congratulations on your marriage!
I am not a fan of soldering rings together. I like having the option of wearing my band alone if I chose to.
Thanks for all of your nice comments. I know that a lot of people around here aren''t fans of channel set bands, but it was really the best option for me given my job and lifestyle. i love how the band is a "different" kind of channel set.
I haven''t decided yet if I am going to put them together or not. I''m really quite torn. I''ll take a while to really decide for sure.
