I am so sorry to hear that you still don''t have your
voice back! Plus, it must have been awful having
an ear infection with all of the traveling you did.
I really hope that you feel better soon...it is a
miracle you made it in to HW...I can''t believe
you ended up in the ER!!
I know that I really can''t lose anything by putting
a deposit down on the ring (especially after seeing
all of the pictures of yours!) but I would feel
more comfortable if I could see it in person and
try it on. What do you think?
Take care and send me a post when you get the
chance---again, your ring is absolutely beautiful!
Congratulations on your engagement
Angela, your HW engagement ring is stunning. A dream ring. CONGRATULATIONS and thanks for posting even though you feely so poorly. Hope you get well soon.
I am a sucker for those micro-pave (or shared prong?) halo setting.
Everytime I see a halo ring, the wheels in my head start to turn about getting my ring resetted
After seeing this ring however, I don't think I would want to reset my RB.
I just wanta cushion with halo
Your fiance did good.
It looks dynamite on your petite finger.
Great googly moogly! Beautiful, scrumptious, delicious, and those are just the first words that come to mind! The stone looks divine and that setting - magnificent!!! I love it!!! I wish my fingers were that small....
DiaGem, I don’t see anything about the crown angle on the GIA report. Sorry. Is there any other way to find this out?
Sunni79, it is The Pave Diamond Setting according to the HW website. Go here: http://www.harry-winston.com/ click on Engagement and then on Rings. It will be the first one to come up…“A ring that offers an elegant alternative to the Harry Winston solitaire.”
My ring is platinum with .46 cts of micopave diamonds going completely around the shank, the center stone, and around the edges of the basket. It is actually much more delicate looking than in the closeup pics.
Everyone who has seen it in real life first says how big it looks then says they can’t believe how much it sparkles. It has out-sparkled everyone’s ring so far, even the RB’s! The fire it throws off is amazing. I just love colored sparkles and that's one of the reasons I chose a cushion. And lastly they have all said, “even though it looks so big it’s still so delicate and antique looking. Which is just the look I was going for!
Victoria, I hope you get in to try it on soon! We could be ring twins!
Lordy that is one pretty ring! It just exudes quality - really the ring looks impeccably crafted and the melee is so firey - the cushion is lovely and pefect in it, too, of course! Congratulations
My student canceled at the last minute which left me time to...you guess it...take more pics of my ring!! Hope you all don't mind. I'm a little obsessed.
