LOVE my IDJ asscher reset in a platinum Jeff Cooper halo

I went to see Yekutiel at IDJ for a retirement gift for my boss and came home with a reset for my 1.79 carat (6.66 x 6.63) J/VS1 asscher!

It's a Jeff Cooper Heather octagonal halo in platinum. Total carat weight for the semi mount is 0.78.

Did I mention I L-O-V-E the delicate millgrain edges and claw prongs? Yup! I keep staring at my hand like I just got engaged! (I've been married since 1993.)

Gorgeous! That setting is perfect for your asscher, really brings it out! Did they set it the day you went in? Because I am noticing *perfect* double claw prongs and I'm even more impressed if they produced those on the fly!

I've always loved the contrast of pave with a step cut...it really shows the step cut off IMO. Love the criss-cross in the
side view too...really nice remount!
