Loupe: Herald Schneider Diamond Standard or L1

Could not decide which one to get. Please shed me light and help me pick one:
1. "Standard" is decent with edge to edge performance, however the "L1" is a little larger (20mm).
2. Does the "Standard" still good enough, OR the "L1" is much improved and a must upgrade?

Which one if most preferred?

It depends on how often you plan to use it. If you are a gemmologist or someone who is using it for many hours a day, then the larger one causes less strain for your eyes otherwise the standard loupe is good enough.

There are gemmologist and those in the trade in a different forum who has used both. I am not allowed to say where though per the forum rules.

Diagem here has a Harald Schnieder and may chime in, or you can search for his comments on PS about loupes.
I have this Harald Schnieder, but am not in the industry, just a geek.

I linked to a gemology site, not a jewelry site.

It's a long story but the gist of it is that there is direct selling and buying (sales) going on there, which in effect, makes it a jewellery forum.
