Loupe and UV light recommendations?

I would like a UV light for diamonds and a loupe. Please recommend brands for both!

I have a little hand held one that's the size of a small led flashlight that I got for free with a bgblue purchase. I would probably just get the cheapest one i could find online for the light.

As for the loupe - I have a free one from gog lolololol. I think that if you're truly interested go for a 10x and a stronger one - 20x? For small things like this that I can readily drop and break or my cats can break if they get their paws on them and play hockey, I again opt for the cheapest one lolol.

Just purchased the Belomo and a cheap UV light. I'm not sure what I was expecting. Definitely a couple hundred... $30-40 is not bad at all!

Garry Holloway in Australia has some for sale that have both the loupe and the UV light in one piece. You can look at your diamond with the loupe, the loupe with the UV light on and the loupe with a white light on.

I believe that David Atlas sells those along with the hand held Ideal-Scopes and ASET Scopes that Garry sells.

The UV flashlight that I have is made by Streamlight, the same brand that our CSI folks at the police department use (we volunteer there). Amazon has it for about $56. There are 4 modes, low, high, safety, and UV. It is small enough to carry in a medium purse. You can use it to find bodily fluids too, lol.
