It’s been 1 week & I have misplaced/lost my 2ctw U-prong asscher Eternity ring. I am devastated. Of course I want it back but I don’t know if I should wait.

If you lost a piece of fine jewelry would you recreate it again/reorder one? Is it worth it?

I will share a pic later...

I’d probably wait a few months for it to turn up and then yes, if I loved it I’d replace it with another.

Ditto KLE...wait a while then if you really loved it, replace it.

I‘m sorry... I lost a bracelet not long ago. I only had it for a couple weeks then. I replaced it after I searched the whole house to make sure it was really not there. However, it was nothing compared to your precious ring. I would wait a bit longer and keep looking. If you won’t find it, then I‘d replace it...

Have you checked the clothes you had on that/those days? Have you checked your car...all around your bed? These are places where a lot of people
in the past have found their pieces of jewelry.

Good luck...I hope you are able to find it!

OH, I am so sorry this has happened and you are going through this agony Have you retraced your steps? Do you have an idea where you think you could've left the ring?

Give it a little bit of time. It may turn up.
If not, and you find yourself missing it (I know I would), replace it.
Maybe, even, upgrade it...lol!!

I once lost a bracelet that was then found inside a box of cereal by my husband when he opened it to have breakfast! I guess it fell off when I reached into the box.

That was 20 years ago and I still wear it everyday.

Def. give it a little time. My mom did this twice, once with a ring wrap, and again with a pair of studs. She jumped the gun and replaced the studs, only to find them and the ring wrap about a month later....in the safe!
I hope you find your beloved ring, i know that sinking feeling when you realize its really missing. Try to figure out where you last saw it/ were wearing it? I loose my rings all the time in my house, this usually helps. My fingers are crossed for you!!

Thanks everyone for your kind responses. As you can imagine it feels like I’ve retraced my steps a million times...
I am a teacher and retraced them back at school & no such luck so far. My students are a good group & pretty honest & they usually let me know when something of mine is missing & are eager to help me find it..

I highly doubt one of them would steal it..

I also put my Belongings in a storage closet so it very well could be there I just have to keep searching...
