Lost a diamond stud

Hi there

I found this site and I'm hoping y'all might have some good suggestions. I had a nice pair of princess cut white gold diamond studs. They were about 1 ct in total. Of course, I lost one. The other has just sat there.

Is there anywhere I could go to find just one diamond earring that matches?

Everywhere I look, you can only buy pairs.

Have you tried to contact a local store and ask if they will sell just one? If they make their own pieces or simply set their own stones, it should be easy.

If not, you can always just buy a single matching stone and a pair of mounts, and have it set for you. You would have a mount left over, but a simple stud isn't very expensive.

If you know the cut, color and clarity of the set that will help with matching them as well.
