I have headed down a weird path and currently have three deposits (all 100% refundable) on three different diamond engagement stones. I don''t know which is a better buy or has a greater cost/value ratio. Can anyone make any suggestions??? I appreciated any help.

All three stones are GIA Certified and Marquise.

Stone #1 -- $9,200
1.54, E, SI1, 11.2x5.97x3.9, 65.7% depth, 56% table, symmetry Good, Polish VG, Slightly Thick-Thick Girdle, No Culet, Medium Blue Flourescence

Stone #2 -- $5,300
1.3, E, SI2, 11.33x5.82x3.59, 61.7% depth, 53% table, symmetry Good, Polish Good, Very thin-Slightly thick girdle, No culet, No Flourescence

Stone #3 -- $8,400
1.34, E, VS1, 10.08x5.76x3.81, 66.1% depth, 54% table, symmetry Good, Polish Good, Thin-Thick girdle, No culet, No Flourescence

Thanks so much for your help....I am crazy to have three rings on deposit but they are all beautiful and I can''t tell one from another so I would prefer to quantify them.

Thanks again...Matt

Hi Mw...

Fancies are so tricky to guage sight unseen.

Make sure that if you choose the si2 to be certain that the inclusion is not located near the point.

Ask if these stones have a strong bow tie effect
because many consumers find that undesirable.

Just to make sure, have a pro check them out for you.
