Ideally i want to be as close to 2 carats as possible. VS2 is fine and G/H color with excellent/very good cut.
I am really looking forward in getting the images from James Allen: but my concerns are the following crown angles greater than 40 degrees, and additional imperfects that are not shown on the report which is suppressing to me considering it is a GIA diamond.

As soon as i get the pictures and stuff I will Definitely post them. You guys are great.there is no concern with crown angles greater than 40 degrees. please post the images when you get them!"
IWhy would that be surprising? GIA grades stones that are excellent cut and they grade very poorly cut stones."

I have a local jeweler that
Cushion 1.82 G VS2 for $10,000 i do not have the specs as far as cut and symmetry etc. I just know the cut is definitely good- very good - excellent. I am not sure which one etc.

In the first picture i was thinking the same thing. The more i keep thinking about it I am leaning more towards sticking with my local wholesaler in Scottsdale.

I felt that way too when I was trying to figure everything out by myself. In all honesty, talking to someone who is a recommended PS jeweler that knows that you will be running the numbers and is usually honest and up front might make you feel a much better. I ended up contacting IDJ, which I am very happy about doing, and have already mentioned them to a couple people I know looking into diamonds. I don't personally have experience with anyone else but others have mentioned GOG, and I would have gone that route if this didn't pan out (which it looks like it will.)
Seeing stones in person, however, does make you feel much better vs. sight unseen - I hear you on that.

I also asked in passing about how other shapes are doing right now, and he said that cushions are really hot at this moment (or something along those lines).
p.s. call, don't just email - I emailed first and called the next day after no response, but he replies to my emails quickly now (said he never got the first one)
p.p.s. I get you on needing to see it in person, but from my searches on here he accurately describes things to you - which makes me happy.
