I''ve been wanting to reset my solitaire into a standalone setting with the shank twisted/braided. So it''s still 2 bands, but combined into one ring. I found this one at The Natural Sapphire Company, and it''s ALMOST perfect. But - I don''t like 4 prongs. I want 6. :P

Anyone seen something like this?

That is a really incredible setting. It''s like they combined a six prong with a trellis and added the split shank. I really love it. What a great design.

OHMYWORD, that setting is gorgeous and so unique! I LOVE it, and although I love 6 prongs, too, I gotta say, IWOULDN''TCHANGEADARNTHING!!!!

i am not a solitare girl but i LOVE LOVE LOVE that setting.... so unique!!!!!!

I don''t see why not. It looks like two seperate bands. If you really want six prongs, it might be worth it to see if you can get one custom made - I think I like the 4 prongs best!
 
Februarybride - that would be awesome.

I like the second setting with the 6 prongs, but I think the 4 prong one looks more like it could stand on its own. Hmmm.

I have to ask, would I be mad to change from my standard 6 prong and plain band? I mean, these are gorgeous, but quite similar to what I have, at least from a distance.

Then again... it''s my ring, LOL. And even subtle changes can be fun!
