Hi Everyone,
I discovered Pricescope shortly after I spend $6,000+ on a 1.92 G oval from Yadav. I'm one of those lucky people who bought right before prices began to fall
I don't truly love this stone, or the setting, and I've spent the last few years following along on all of your journeys and posts while thinking about what I would like to have instead.
I'm finally ready to buy something new - hoping it will be the final one. I've looked and looked, and have decided that I have ridiculously expensive taste. What I would choose if money was not object would be a 3-4 carat OEC or roundish OMC from around 1920-1930. I love the pillowy facets.
Here are some of my recent favorites:

I've finally decided that spending $80,000 is not going to happen, and am considering purchasing an OEC or OMC LG to recreate one of these styles.
Over the weekend I fell madly in love with a 3 carat OMC at Alex Park, but no sooner did I decide I had to have it, then it sold.
I've since found three OEC to consider, and would be so thrilled if one of you experts would weigh in on the topic in general, or on the two stones. I'll post links when someone is online to see
I really appreciate all of your expertise, and how kind and welcoming this forum is.
