It looks like a real pretty diamond. Hopefully they will find a match for you.

The diamond looks good, this image does look slightly tilted so it appears to have slight leakage to the right, but it might be an illusion, check with JA. Also request one of their gemologists checks this stone because of the grade setting cloud, that this does not impact performance and that it is eyeclean.

I am the first to admit, when it comes to "matches" for stud earrings, I am clueless. That is why I get the help of someone like Lesley at BGD to do the matches. Tell her your budget, what you want, and she will have the solution for you.
Best of luck.

Hi all - I have a second option for studs -- this one from whiteflash (I must admit I''m enjoying the customer service much more). How do you feel about these:

ACA  0.511  J  SI1  $1009  AGS-1040369390070

ACA  0.573  J  SI1  $1134   AGS-1040387160101

My only concern is the J color, but WF indicated that the color won''t be noticeable.

Here was the other pair I was previously considering:

thoughts?

I don't like the WF pair - they're both very pretty stones, but there's a significant spread difference. In that size range if you put them next to each other you'd notice that 0.2mm difference. In your ears, perhaps not, but it would bother me.

The second pair is better matched - images look good, the difference in table size is small.

I would also prefer less variance in the diameter of the WF diamonds, the JA stones could be fine if eyeclean but the second has a grade making cloud so it would be best to check that out with JA to make sure it isn't impacting performance.

Thanks for the information. Here is the pair I went with:

How''d I do? I was worried about the the J color, but WF said that it will still look very white due to the cut.
As far as I can tell you did great, can''t see the images for the second diamond though. WF are right, J colour with top cut quality will look very white, I think you will be delighted but you are covered with a good return policy in the rare instance you were not.

CentralSquare, congrats on the new earrings! I''m looking for the same size and color with the same budget, so I''m really looking forward to seeing what you think of them (and some pictures would be wonderful!).

Central Square I think they are going to be great! plus Whiteflash has a decent upgrade/return policy so you have lots of options down the road

Here they are!!! I was so happy to receive them! I was worried about the J colored stone, but honestly I can''t tell which is which. I think that, at times, I can see a difference in both of them compared to my engagement ring, which is an H. But sometimes the H shows more color (maybe because of the size....it''s 2.2 cts?). Bottom line - the color isn''t an issue for me!

Is there anyway to determine the difference between the two stones? I tried to match the inclusions I saw through the viewer with the plots on the AGS cert, but couldn''t see many inclusions. Oh well!

Also - do folks tend to wear studs 24/7? I''ve been taking them out at night, but that will probably get old quickly. They aren''t screwbacks, but they are insured so I''m wondering if I should just choose path of least resistance and keep them in.

Anyway, I''m very happy and thank you all for the advice!!
