Hi everyone!

I have just started looking at e-rings and wanted some help finding similar looking rings or good designers/brands I should look at....

The first two I have seen in person and like very much. The third is a picture of a Britney Spears e- ring that I really like. Has anyone seen a ring similar to this one? I cant seem to find anything.

Ritani ( I really like how the diamonds are on the entire basket) - I havent been able to find any with this? )

A Jaffe

Neil Lane .. Britney Spears latest e-ring ( I like how this is low set and again the diamonds are around the main stone)

So I guess what I am trying to get at is I am looking for a basket setting with diamonds around the basket.... low set...for a round diamond....

Thank you!

Also.... are Ritani and A Jaffe good quality rings? I am really leaning towards the Ritani... opinions?

Thank you !!!

I think I would just go with the Ritani or A Jaffe. Others around here have rings by those makers, and I've not heard anything bad about them. Do you have a diamond for the setting already, or would you be purchasing a diamond? I asked Whiteflash a while ago if they can get any Ritani setting, and they can, so that would be my choice if I were looking to get a Ritani--put an ACA in it.

I really like your setting choices! I recently set my new RB ACA in the Ritani French set halo in platinum, and the setting quality is excellent. I'm very happy with the workmanship. Good luck!

Thank you for your responses.

I have heard that Whiteflash can recreate other rings....however is the craftsmanship the same? For example would you be able to tell the difference between the real Ritani and the Whiteflash Ritani?

Also, you both mentioned ACA... what is that? :wall:

Sorry if I was unclear. Whiteflash is a Ritani dealer, meaning they get the settings from Ritani. They don't make versions of the settings, they get the actual settings and can put Whiteflash diamonds in them vs. diamonds that Ritani sells on their site. They don't list all of the Ritani settings on their site, though, just a limited number of them, but I did confirm just a month or so ago that they can get *any* setting from Ritani. You can see the ones they have on their site here, but again, if you find one via Ritani, just e-mail Whiteflash to let them know which setting you want: http://www.whiteflash.com/engagement-rings/diamond-settings/#designers=ritani

An ACA is Whiteflash's A Cut Above diamond range, the top cut quality stones. You can read about them here: http://www.whiteflash.com/a-cut-above-diamonds We can also help you pick a stone from Ritani or Whiteflash if we know your budget and preferred specs.

But if I wanted a Ritani ring, I'd definitely get it via Whiteflash so I could get an ACA stone (unless, of course, you don't want a round or princess cut).

Ohhh ok thank you. I just spoke with them via the online chat... very helpful.

Wold you say that an ACA diamond from Whiteflash is "much better" than a diamond straight from Ritani?

I don't have a ton of time to look right now, but it seems all of Ritani's are GIA certified vs. Whiteflash's being AGS certified. The parameters for meeting AGS ideal status are more stringent than GIA's cut grades, so that would be enough for me to choose a Whiteflash stone. Also, you can see actual photos of the Whiteflash diamonds on their site and it seems all of Ritani's are just a stock photo so you wouldn't be able to find an eye-clean SI1 or whatever without a significant amount of back-and-forth. What is your budget and preferred specs? We can help you find some options to compare.

I am looking for something around 1.5 carat.... ideal cut...at least a H in color....at least a SI1....what should the price be?
