Looking for some help and guidance for my Girlfriends ring (Halo)

This might be a little out of place and also fairly generalized but, I thought I would give it a shot since I want to give my girl the perfect ring.

A couple of things my girl friend is looking for in a ring is of course a halo. The halo she is looking for is square with lopped off corners. I have seen a lot of halo rings like that is typically not hard to find.

She would like the diamond to be slightly raised about the halo (I saw a lot of cushion cuts like this).

She wants the housing to be raised enough to fit a matching band next to her ring and on the profile of the ring she would like some kind of engraving, antique like is the best way we can put it.

Anyways, I am just looking for any and all types of halo rings that may have any of this qualities so I can work on getting it designed.

She wants a halo ering that will sit flush with the wedding band. She wants the stone to sit above the halo. And wants the halo to have squared off edges?? Do I have that right??

Correct. One other thing that she is wanting is some hand engraving on the band, so when you look at the side of teh ring it has more life to it. I am mainly just looking for any and all examples of the various things that she wants.

what shape center stone will you have?

it will be a square cut. That could be a princess cut or anything similar.. the more sparkle the better is what she is thinking

Assuming I am understanding what she is looking for, I would look at a tacori style setting, specifically 2620. Or possibly verragio? I looked at a bunch of different styles and those were my/her favorites.

I purchased the tacori 2620 for my soon to be fiance (saturday i hope!!), and I think they might have similar tastes. I will let you know what she thinks after! Also, check out the show me the bling - cushion thread, I think there are lots of good pictures in there.
