We (boyfriend and I) have seen the chart showing mm measurements of the various cuts at specific carat weights. However, I could have sworn that a while ago I saw a photo (or maybe video?) of 2ct diamonds in various cuts (round, emerald, asscher, cushion, and maybe marquis?) that showed them side by side for an easy visual comparison. Is there something like that available or did my mind make it up? I've spent a good part of the last hour trying to find it and now officially give up! ;)

Google "size of diamond on finger" and you will come to a database where you can enter exact measurements of a stone compared to another and it will show you size difference on a finger graphic.

Use the actual numbers, otherwise you are dealing with guesses...

Thank you, but that's not quite what we're looking for. That shows us one "diamond" at a time. We want a photo of diamond shapes all side by side when they pretty much have the same carat weight. I know there will be some slight differences with ideal cut vs very good cut etc, in terms of table sizes, but it would give us a good general idea on the difference in appearances.

Pretty sure it's this one :)

What a great video! I have been debating whether to trade in my round diamond for an oval and this video is very helpful. Too bad they didn't include dimensions, though, as ovals seem to vary a lot.

Is that really a one carat asscher? My 1.52 is not much bigger than my .75 round it seems...
