Looking for LGD 5 ctw studs - help!

I’ve been looking for diamond studs for awhile and recently started looking at lab grown diamonds and now am thoroughly confused as to what to look for.

I am primarily looking at vetted PS vendors at their vetted diamonds (no pay growth treatment etc), but not sure if I should stick to paying for HPHT or broaden to include CVD given what I have read on recent posts.

Looking at 2.5 carat studs per ear, F/G and VS1/2.

What other things should I consider ? Trade in policies ?

Very few lab grown vendors offer trade in policies. Brian Gavin Diamonds does, with a caveat. I'm not sure if Distinctive Gem still does.

I think HPHT is safer as there are fewer issues to watch out for.
