Looking for help on earrings with omega backs

I have a pair of earrings with omega backs. One of them is ok but the closure on the other one presses against my ear so much that it starts to hurt within couple of hours of putting them on. Is there a way to fix the earring? I''m sitting at work opening and closing the earring to loosen it.
