looking for double prong setting for EC stone - help??

I''m wondering if anyone knows where I could get a setting like the one in the picture? It is a very simple solitare for an emerald cut, but it has double prongs which I think adds a really nice twist. I apologize to the owner of this ring for not remembering who you are -- I saw this pic in a thread somewhere and saved it because I thought it was so lovely! You have a beautiful ring!

Also, does anyone have thoughts on whether the stone would need to be a certain size to support double prongs?

I recently purchased a 1.54 ct. emerald cut. I would say it''s a bit small to support double prongs unless you like the look of a lot of prong. It''s really a matter of personal taste.

You are right, I think I will have to see them in person. Love the double prong look in theory, we''ll have to see how it works with a bit smaller stone...

That''s Dani''s gorgeous set in the photo. I believe it''s a 1.7 carat--the double claw prongs are exquisite with her stone.

THANK YOU coatimundi!!! I was able to hunt down Dani''s thread for the details https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/better-late-than-never-danis-ring-pics.90533/. Looks like it was designed by Engagement Rings Direct, which is something I will have to look into. Previously, the only place I had seen double prong EC solitare settings was at Harry Winston.

Dani''s ring makes me so happy! I used her ring for ''inspiration'' when I re-set my own emerald cut, the only thing is I felt my EC (1.4ct) was a little too small to do the double prong action, but you could def. check with your jeweler.
