Hello! I’ve been lurking on this site for years but just created an account because I’m ready to make a purchase! My DH has given me the go ahead to start looking for an anniversary ring.

I’m a SAHM that does a lot of cooking and chasing after my toddler. I originally wanted a full eternity band but think a 1/2 or 3/4 eternity diamond band would be more appropriate for my lifestyle.

I’ll be wearing this ring alone. My engagement ring sits in my jewelry box because the height of the cathedral setting wasn’t working for my day to day life.

I’m looking for round cut diamonds in a platinum setting. My budget is around $3k. It’s somewhat flexible.

Does anyone have suggestions on a vendor? Type of setting?

Thank you!

I would recommend a 5 stone from ID jewelry. Be sure to call and ask for mazal/pricescope quality stones.

I too am a SAHM and have a 5+ carat eternity band that only comes out for date night (like twice a year). I love the look of the eternity but after wearing it regularly for a few years the jeweler told me a few of the diamonds had nicks in them. I am seriously considering setting the diamonds into something I would wear more.

Happy Anniversary! And be sure to come back with pictures of whatever you decide!

Congratulations on your anniversary! A 5 or 7 stone would be nice. It has enough presence to be worn alone, yet is practical since the diamonds are only on the top! Depending on your ring size, I found a 1ct tw 7 stone and a 1.5ct tw 5 stone to have the perfect amount of coverage.

While you don't wear your e-ring now perhaps consider a band that will compliment it for when you are ready to get it out again (maybe reset into a lower setting to make more practical?) or even special occasions before then. Your little ones won't be little forever. Enjoy that time with them now but you will get your life back as well. It might be nice to have rings all set up and ready to go when you feel it's the right time. :))

Thank you all! I’ve reached out to I.D. Jewelry for some quotes with Pricescope quality diamonds :)
