Looking for an Australian CS vendor

Hi all,

This might be a long shot but I figured someone somewhere in the CS community might be able to point me in the right direction. I'm looking for a CS vendor based in Australia, preferably Sydney. I'm getting married next year (yay!) and as part of my dowry, Mum has agreed to pay for a pair of earrings for me to wear on my wedding day. I'm thinking since my e ring is a pink sapphire, it would be nice to get a pair of pink sapphire earrings to go with it. My wedding's not till June so I have plenty of time, my main priority is to find the right vendor and then start the hunt. I bought my e ring sight unseen and while I love my ring to bits, it was still quite a nerve wrecking experience and not one I want to repeat for awhile. Ideally, I'd like the vendor to have a physical store in Sydney for me to go in and inspect the stones, be willing to provide lots of photos so I can come back here and pick the experts' brains on whether it's a good stone or not.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

If you're interested in getting the stones from one vendor, then having them set by another, there's always Doug at Bespoke Gems. He's based in Queensland, but has a great return policy. You could drop him a line and see how it would work in terms of having something custom cut. You could then use any local jeweler to have them set.

thanks for both recommendations, I'm leaning more towards Doug atm as he seems to specialise in CS.
