Looking for an amethyst

I am looking for a large (7mm +), high quality amethyst for a ring in a rectangular cushion shape. Chrono recently bought a beautiful one with red and blue flashes. Can anyone direct me to a vendor that may have similar stone or rough? I may be interested in buying a suite of stones for a parure. Feel free to contact me through my LT listing.

Preg, try TGT. Brad often has nice ammies from a variety of origins. He was nice enough to send me about 5 to look through -- without charge -- & pick one. At that time he had a JXR & others -- I bought a Zambian with lovely red flashes. Which, sigh, i still have to take pics of & put them up here. Good luck!

I only have one ammy but I LOOOOVE it - Gary Braun cut it for me, and I know that he has cut a few for other boardies. I would definitely recommend asking him if he still has some rough. Here are a couple of pics , in two different types of lighting. I still haven't set it yet, but I'm definitely going to, bc I simply adore it
