Looking for alternating round/princess band

I have an idea for what I want my wedding ring to look like but can''t find one! I''m looking for a band with alternating round brilliants and princess cut or possibly square step cut diamonds. I don''t want it to be too wide because it wouldn''t look good on my short fingers, but I do want it to have a thin edge, possibly with milgrain, and I would prefer it to not be channel set. Lots of requirements! Does anyone know of anything like this?

There is a beautiful ring here somewhere that has alternating rounds and step cuts, but I can''t remember who has it....But I am sure one of our settings wizards will be able to dig it up!

thanks I would love to see it! I''m wondering if step cuts would actually be better than princess because you would see more of a contrast between the stones

Just so I know exactly what I''m looking for....I need a little clarification.

So you want milgrain and perhaps even the "setting type" like this (try to ignore the three-sided look):

And you like the look of step cuts....such as asscher, like this:

If this is the case....I have never seen anything like it...but I don''t mind looking.

Have you thought of having it custom made? I think you might be pleasantly surprised with how affordable custom work is....especially through one of the PS vendors.

hi hmr mama, you got it right! I''d have to see how they look together and which looks better but i''d either want the round brilliants to alternate with princess or square step cuts
i''d never see it either but if you could find one that would be cool! otherwise yes i have thought about going custom but was just hoping to see how it''d all look first

Zappy thanks for the suggestions, they are close and I''ve seen rings like that before but they don''t have an edge and have baguettes instead of square shaped stones...maybe what I want will have to be custom made!
