My fiance and I are starting the early stages of planning for our wedding. We are looking to keep the price down as low as possible and are looking for find some affordable wedding bands. Has anyone had any experience with the titanium or tungsten bands? They have extremely nice ones that run $150 or under. I have heard that they cannot be resized, however I don''t think that is much of a problem for us. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

DH lost his yellow gold band a few years ago and we replaced it with a titanium one as he is very hard on his hands. It has held up very well. There are hardly any scratches or nics. I got it for him at eweddingbands.com for $100 or less. I don''t think they can be sized, but, $100 is practically the cost of sizing it. You could just buy a new one...Oops there I go being unsentimental again! If it''s something you''d want to keep/wear forever and have sized go with gold. White/yellow 14k 2-3mm gold bands are also pretty affordable. Try ebay. I think someone (maybe Mara) on this board got a 2mm for $20 or something, but, I could be wrong. Happy hunting!!!

Thanks a lot Miranda, I will look into that.

Do people really have to resize their wedding rings that often??

For some it''s with weight gain or loss, pregnancy, etc. Mine got smaller after having 3 kids. Some people''s fingers stay the same size always.

Thanks Miranda, was just wondering how common it was to have to resize them. Appreciate the response!

Hi Agent,

Try e-weddingbands.com. I''ve bought 2 bands from them and they''re great to work with, plus the cheapest prices you''ll find on the web. Top quality jewelry, too. They do have tungsten and titanium. My observation has been that men are less likely to need ring re-sizing, but don''t rule the possibility out of course.

Good luck!

Ah it''s been awhile Kristy, how ya been? Thanks a lot for the info, I will look into it all.
