Hi,

First time poster here. Looking for the perfect 2-tone e-ring!

Question: Any recommendation on where to find the perfect cut round stone (1.5-2.1ct +/-) in combination with a 2-tone ring (white prongs and yellow shaft)?

Any guidance is appreciated as I’m ready to put in the order .

Some background info:
I’m looking for a 2-tone, 18kt yellow gold ring with white prongs. I know my girlfriend loves the round solitaire look. Around 1.5-2.1ct +/- probably looks best.

She is petite (5’1”) and with slim fingers.

She liked the Tiffany 6-prong look. But she also likes the vintage engraved looks. She seems to not have a preference on pave vs. simple shafts either.

Lab grown diamonds preferred due to budget, but willing to spend more for that superb cut lab diamond to make her wow!

I have been looking for days and learned a lot about e-rings. The 2-tone options seems limited from a lot of retailers found thus far.

Thanks for reading and any suggestions!

Hi,
Giving us your budget will help you get the best responses. Also, where you say this:

Do you mean you are only interested in lab diamonds, or did you mean to say earth mined the second time?

I don't think finding a setting with a yellow gold shank and white metal head will be all that difficult. For example, on this page from James Allen there are several

Thanks for the comment! I think I’m only interested in lab diamonds because I *hope* that I can spend my budget on a better quality rock. If I can find a ring below $10k, then that’s perfect. Over $10k, I’m still open to that if it’s that much more amazing.

I guess I’m asking: If you know of a combination of amazing lab grown rock and amazing 2-tone ring and print design?

I checked out James Allen but thought their 6-prong setting is a little bulky and lacking some of that Tiffany lightness.

And what company has the most amazing lab grown diamonds? I might just settle on a “standard” 6-prong setting if there is lab rock quality brand that is amazing above other brands.

Thanks!

Also you don't need to get the stone and the setting from the same vendor. There are vendors who will create exactly the type of setting you want and will set a stone that you buy somewhere else.

Since you aren't wedded to a particular designer's setting, my advice is to find the stone first and then see if that vendor offers a setting that you like. If not, you can ask for guidance on vendors who can make a Tiffany-like setting for your specific stone.

For ideal cut lab diamonds, I’d look at Distinctive Gem, Diamonds by Lauren, JannPaul, Brian Gavin, or Leon Mege. Definitely post in the lab-grown forum!

Brian Gavin has a couple of vintage style and tiffany options under the Sylvie brand (and ideal cut LG).

You might want to look at Distinctive Gem's OEC cut diamonds and glance at his YouTube videos.

My personal favorites of this style are made by Jabel.
