Looking for advice selecting a ~2 ct round brilliant diamond!

After doing some reading and trying to educate myself as best I can, I’m looking to find a nice ~2 ct lab grown round brilliant diamond for a center stone in a 3 stone ring. I’d love some input from @DejaWiz if possible!

I’m browsing on LGD for a 1.95 - 2.05 ct round brilliant diamond, VS1, D-F color, hearts and arrows. I’m looking at diamonds with a filter on, table of 57-58, depth up to 62%, and browsing for diamonds with a crown angle around 34-35 and pavilion angle around 40.5 - 40.9. Does this sound reasonable?

I was shown a lab grown in the store (LG686501182) with a crown angle of 35.7 and pavilion of 40.9, overall depth 62.8 which seems a bit steep and symmetry was listed as “very good” so I’m hoping I can find something better!

I’ve found a few with the IGI hearts and arrows designation, but don’t have a good handle if they’re decent beyond their measurements.

Budget is up to 1.2k but willing to go higher if I can find something really nice.

The ring is going to be a 3 stone ring with two smaller rounds about 0.5 ct each. Is it ok to be much less strict about proportions for these side stones? Should I still aim for VS1 and D-F color?

What is your total budget for the three diamonds, excluding the price of the setting?

Edit: Honestly happy to spend above budget if it means getting significantly better diamonds, was more concerned about getting poor value spending X amount on the jeweller supplied diamonds. Thanks again!

That's no problem at all...I've already found you a couple 2 cts pick from for under $1000 and two side diamonds for under $200 each - all of them clean HPHT with the IGI Hearts & Arrows designation on the grading reports.
