Hello Pricescopers!
I have not ever purchased a diamond on line. Only in brick and mortar, will never do that again!
I have a diamond in mind that I am not sure the price is right. Also I have ASET images as well as ideal-scope. Can you guys check out the images and let me know your thoughts?
As far as posting about the diamond stats. I am a bit nervous about that as I do not want anyone to scoop this from under me if it is a great purchase/deal. So how can I go about posting other stats with comfort for some advice?
I can say which you could also tell from the images it is an old european cut.
Thank you in advance.

Hi Vangrocks,

That looks like a pretty symmetric diamond for an OEC.

The one issue it has is the obstruction under the table. The crown and pavilion angles aren’t at complementary angles and because of this, the diamond will seem dark in the center. This will be really apparent when you’re looking down at the diamond straight on. This might not be as much of an issue if the stone is intended to be set into a pendant.

Good luck.

Yep, dark under the table. If this is the stone I think it is, it does not appear to ever go bright under the table (if it does then they need to post
some pics of it not dark under the table). For me, this would be a pass.

Stinker. I had a feeling it was too good to be true. I did see other pics and videos it looked pretty to my untrained eye. But the right lighting can make that happen huh? 2.01 N SI1. The person states eye clean more like a VS then SI1. GIA report.
