Please help me find a ring that will fit my fiancée's budget and my hand. I wear a size 8 and have long fingers so even large stones just disappear on my hand. A recent jeweler said I have "expensive hands". My fiancée said YIKES! Ha! But in all seriousness, I'm looking at a yellow diamond ring and I would love some of your creative ideas for a 'more substantial' ring without going over 3 ct center stone. I don't care for the halos (even though that would cover more of my finger) but want to find a ring that sings! Please show me your yellow diamond rings with wedding bands please!

long and large fingers? Id do a marquise and pear three stone. Marquise on average face up very large and take up a lot of vertical finger coverage, which is nice for long fingers. Pears also face up large for the ctw. Using them as 3 stones would created vertical finger coverage.

no pics, but i think that would be amazing.

Could you share your budget with us so we all have a better idea of what you and your fiance can reasonably afford? :)

Don't know how you feel about lab grown but this one looked pretty good! obviously the photo is not of the actual stone but I am sure they could send you photos of any you were interested in.

Our budget for the engagement ring is $19,000 - $25,000. But right now we are still trying to nail down a style we both love.

heres what i mean.
Id pop this
in a setting like this

but yes do move this over to Rocky talky i'm sure youll get all sorts of ideas.

Neil - Thank you for that recommendation, it is beautiful. I have asked to have the thread moved to Rocky Talky but since I'm a novice at this forum i'm not sure if they've done it or not.

Does anyone have any photos of a marquee, oval or pear-shaped 3ct yellow with a wedding band?

As one with long fingers and larger size (I've been bx a 7.5 currently to 8+) and I'd suggest a 3 stone round with pear sides OR a graduated 5 stone. Both rings would give you great finger coverage. :D

Then you can do the stacking route. Those of us with longer fingers have more stacking options. :appl: I'll see if I can find some examples but I think it's Niel's ring that I love. :D
Here's a thread with her ring, it's the second picture :D https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/isnt-this-my-ring.193972/

ah haha! that thread was so silly.

but anyways, yes a 5 stone is a great idea as well. they take up so much finger space. Only thing is thats more money as youll be buying more diamonds, so it would take more money away from the center.

I have a 7.15 finger and I got my yellow diamond at Diamonds by Lauren.. love them
