looking for a wedding band for my RB in cushion halo in NYC

hey everybody, i reside in the NYC/NJ area and wanted to know what vendors i can visit to shop for my fiances wedding band. She has a RB in cushion halo with melee diamonds on the pave 3/4 and halo. the issue is that there are melee diamonds on the doughnut and we do not want to damage the melee on the doughnut. We got a estimate on a custom wedding band but it came out to be $4000 and that is way out of our budget. we are looking for something in the 2k-3k range, any help or advice would greatly be appreciated. thanks!

I think you should contact Leon Mege, Victor Canera (he is in LA but his work is amazing), or Sk for the wedding band.

One can always wear a tiny spacer between the band & e-ring, that way the melee will not get as damaged. The second option is to wear the wedding band on the right hand, this way it will never damage the e-ring. Good luck

The OP mentioned he had a budget and that a prior quote of $4K was twice their budget, so VC or LM might also be a bit pricey for them. Might want to try ERD or IDJ to stay in your budget. JA might also work. Best of luck.

I would see if Steven Kirsch can work with you in budget and then look into a plain spacer as well to prevent the donut from eating the band alive. You can get a spacer relatively inexpensively, even in platinum, on etsy.

I would contact ERD or IDJ as well. I think that SK VC and LM will be out of budget, although it never hurts to ask, I've been pleasantly surprised before!

Yes, I agree that you'll do best with a ready-made band. But you will have to buy a spacer ring when there are diamonds on the doughnut. Examples here:

thanks everybody for the advice. i think the option we are gonna exercise is getting the spacer but how do we know if we want a 1mm spacer or a 1.5mm spacer? are we suppose to buy the spacer first and then the wedding band?

i dont know if they have a store front in NY but i know they located in NY, and they have lots of bands in your range
