i was engaged before but feel that i did not get the best price on the stone i purchased. my girlfriend and i are pretty serious, but about a year from thinking about moving in that direction. right now i think is a good time to start shopping. i''m looking for a stone that is at least 1.6 carats at most 2.0 carats, round, ideal cut, VVS1 to VS2, D colour. i''m from south africa, so short of going to the Afrikaans illegal backhoe diamond farms in the Orange Free State to go purchase one, what kind of price would I be looking at? Do you have any recommendations of where I could shop? I am currently in California in the United States. I am not aware of a good wholesale diamond connection who''s diamonds have certification. Any help would be much appreciated.
