I had two stones ordered and paid from an online vendor. Multiple issues came up and I cancelled the order.

The stone is going into a platinum four prong setting that has a horizontal bar that connects the four prongs. Is that a basket setting? On the four horizontal bars I'd like some small blue sapphires set. Three or four sapphires per bar. How will the blue of the sapphires affect, if at all, the apparent color of the diamond?

Budget is $25,000 but of course of I can get a stone for a $2-3k less it wouldn't be a problem. :)

Help me you gemological geniuses with your insider knowledge and referrals!

I'm confused a bit... are you saying that you have a setting already but you want to modify it by adding some sapphires? If so, I don't believe that's possible; you'll probably have to have a whole new setting made.

And is 25K for just the diamond or diamond and setting?

$25,000 is just for the diamond.

Need more coffee! I meant AGS 0 in the title.

I found a stone on USACertedDiamonds.

3.4 J SI1 comes back 1.8 on HCA FIC at $23.8k

Worth it to get an i'scope? Are they a reputable dealer? Their website looks bare.

They are a reputable company. A few PSers have gotten stones through them but most want to see pictures of the stones first so they
dont use them. What color of metal are you using in the setting?

Can you post the depth, table, crown and pavilion angles?

A few I found at JA...would need to ask if they are eye-clean.

Here is a 3.57 but it is over your budget and it has a lot going on in it.

Great size. I'm not sure if they will provided ASET, may have to ask. HCA 1.1. A lot on the plot, but without an IRL image hard to know how it really looks.

Smaller spread than target, but all are super-ideal and 1st two are really clean SI1.
