This look like the ring you are looking for (perhaps without the x prong): http://www.wannabuyawatch.com/indpages/24040.html
The setting is new and they sell them separate from the stones. You could buy a center stone like the one in your pic from an online vendor here or I''m sure they could source it for you. Great store.
just as a side note, if either of the scott kay peaks your interest, and you wanted double prongs, they can certainly accomodate that ( I have asked before on a different setting) but not sure if the "Claw" look prongs is something they can do but certainly doesn''t hurt to ask anyways.
What are the most important elements in this ring to you? the setting crossing over? the engraving? the cut of the diamond? Or were you given this image as a reference for what to get? It looks like the photos from this site. link
Thanks all for the help. I like a lot of the ones posted. I did find this pic from estatejewelry. It is the "antique" look, engraving an all that is so appealing. Thanks again for all the help and recommendations.
One more question. I have confirmed that the picture I posted is in fact the one she likes the best. Her old favorite and now second favorite is the halo look, similar to the Tiffany Halo engagement ring. What I am trying to figure out is what the ring I posted (x-prong style) with a minimal halo look like. I think it may not look quite right, but just thought I would see what you all think. I have not been able to find any pictures or anything close to what I am thinking. Thanks again for all of the recommendations.
I just want to point out that the ring the OP posted, which he said she likes best, has a CUSHION cut center stone. Did you ask her if she wants a cushion cut or if it''s just the setting that appeals to her? I think the cushion completes the setting. But that''s my opinion.
