Greetings pricescope members!
This is my first post and thread on pricescope, and I'm glad to join both an intelligent and educational community.
My girlfriend's birthday is approaching and I always believe buying gold/platinum to be the safe gift, so I usually buy jewelry for her. The problem is most of the retail stores we've gone to have been incredibly dissapointing. Walking into the Tiffany Store and looking at a forged Atlus ring had me out the door immediately with a much poorer impression of Tiffany than before. I took her to the Cartier store next door and while some of the designs were interesting like the Trinity Ring, or Entrelace none of them had the detail or workmanship to impress her.
Most of the past pieces of jewelry I've bought for her are Hawaiian Jewelry as she really likes the intricate and detailed design. Her favorite store in Hawaii was J3 (Link to their Blog http://ameblo.jp/j3hawaii/theme-10019436801.html)
If anyone can offer suggestions of stores, jewelers, or even pawn shops that would be most helpful! I would prefer the location to be in California as I usually must see what I am buying in person but I am flexible to other areas.
