Good day everyone, I will be getting married in April, and me and my soon to be wife are shopping around for wedding bands at the moment for me. Looking for some ideas, I like classic and unique style rings. Roughly 8mm in width. So if you have any pics that you can upload or any destinations I can view, that would be great! Anything helps! Thanks.

I don't have any pics to help but you should check out the men's ring eyecandy folder. You could probably get some great ideas there.

What kind of a ring are you looking for? My husband got a tungsten carbide ring and it looks great on him. He wears it for everything, including lifting weights and it doesn't have a single scratch on it.

It's similar to the attached photo, but it is 9mm instead of 7mm.

I'm getting married next fall and will be buying my ring from boonerings.com this winter, once I find the diamond I want in it. Bruce is open to customization, provided you understand the limits of his manufacturing process. I've also found the men's bling thread in this forum good for ideas, however it's sadly stagnant at the moment...no posts in over two months!

My husband went with a Scott Kay palladium band. Scott Kay has some very interesting designs and my husband wanted something unique. They are a bit pricey but getting palladium instead of platinum made it affordable for us and two years later my husband still loves him band

I have to ask, is that a tooth pendant on your avatar?

Thanks for the suggestions thus far, that tungsten ring is definitely nice and I have heard that the durability is exceptional when it comes to those rings. I am definitely going to check out the website you listed, as well as the mens bling folder. Any more suggestions are always welcome. I am in fact leaning towards a Gold ring at the moment.

My hubby has a 7mm gold mokume band that he loves. It is both classic but unique.

Check out Alex Sepkus - I find his bands to be artistic and manly!

...and when you see the work in person, the craftsmanship will blow your mind! They are truly unique.

+1 for boone. I got my OH's ring from there and the service was fantastic. The ring was made and to me in Australia within 2 weeks. OH loved it. He wanted a very "manly" ring so titanium with meteorite is what we went with.

He really wanted this one as he thought it was the most manly, But i figured customs would have stopped it. Apparently you can't get more manly than deer antler

Oops. Sorry, i just read that you want gold. Disregard my last post :)

It doesn't have to be 8 mm to be "manly". :errrr:

@ melave: No need to be sorry at all, I am actually just leaning towards a Gold ring, but any suggestions help! I am not closed minded at all, so bring on the ideas!

@ImDanny: I know it doesn't have to be 8mm to be "manly" , that is just simply the width I prefer, I find 7mm ok and 8mm just right for my finger. Just my personal preference I guess!

Thanks for the help so far everyone :)
