hello ps,
i just pulled the trigger on a very nice (sight-unseen) 1.318ct g/vs2 aca from wf. after reading a recent post below about a conflict between a gia report, merchant's gemologist, and an independent appraisal, i think i am going to have wf send me my diamond loose so i can have it appraised before i have them mounted it.
this time i am asking ps for recommendations for a diamond appraiser(s) or a professional listing thereof in my home state of VA. I live in the Hampton Roads area of VA (Wm'sburg, Norfolk, VA Beach). I would consider traveling to northern VA or Washington DC area or traveling south to Charlotte, NC if necessary.
