Looking for a designer in NYC

Hi all,

I have come up with a design for my engagement ring that i want to give to my girlfriend in April. The people i have been working with are working slow and i don't think that my ring will be done on time. The price that they are asking is a little higher then i was hopping. could anyone suggest a designer/ring maker that could help.

Engagement Rings Direct - I have read over and over on PS as being a good vendor, with a lovely product at a good price. Many speak very highly of Leon Mege in Manhattan, he's probably high end but you could try him also. Out in LI there's Good Old Gold, they can make or get you whatever you need, I just bought a 1.33 AVC from the store and had it set in a basket setting.. lovely LOVELY stone at a price premium due to the cut and name, I was willing to do that. Hope you post pix when your ring for your lady is done!
