HI GUYS,

THANKS FOR THE RESPONCE. IF MY CAPS OFFEND YOU SORRY.MY LEFT HAND GOT BURNED AND I FIND IT EASYER TO TYPE LIKE THIS.SORRY

jennifer, try typing in all lower case, it''s just as easy to read and doesn''t come across so harsh.

the folks here have given you some great suggestions and even linked some super stones that will fit into your pricerange while coming close to the size you want. As belle said, you can use the search tool to compare pricing for yourself, just be sure to stick to ideal cut stones, those are going to look the best, still be beautiful and look very big. good luck..

Jennifer,
I think you have been given some very good advice here. People do want to help you. But it''s hard when some of your posts are harsh. As belle said use the search tool. It''s easy to use. There is no way you can get an ideal cut stone in a 3 carat for your price range. Maybe that''s what made you mad. But you asked and we are telling you the truth. Hey if I could get an ideal cut stone for that price I''d be the first one to share that info with ya. My advice is to stick to a lower carat weight. You have an awesome budget, and can get a great stone. Buy from a PS vendor who allows upgrades. You''ll get to that 3 carat mark eventually. Anyway good luck, we are here to help.

Sorry about your hand.

hmmm, is this what PS calls a troll alert??

Hi Jennifer,

I assume you are already familiar with the 4 "C"s of diamond-hunting. It sounds as though your top priority is obviously carat, followed by clarity and color. That is fine, but it means you will be drastically sacrificing "cut" to stay within your price range. Most of the vendors you find mentioned here on Pricescope deal with better cut diamonds than those you''d find in a mall store, or through other online venues such as Ebay. Unfortunately, that means it is highly unlikely you will find what you are looking for here, without sacrificing carat, clarity or color significantly.

As for prices, in my experience, the online vendors mentioned here offer some of the very best values for the money you can find. Everyone would like to buy a diamond at "wholesale"... but unless you are a diamond-miner or jeweler, it is unlikely you (or any of us) will be sold a diamond at that cost.

Please don''t feel you are being bullied... people are just trying to help you understand why your current search is improbable, and suggest some ways of modifying it to still get a beautiful diamond within your budget. But good luck and keep reading... there is a lot to learn!

I know prices are continuing to skyrocket. The larger the stone, the tougher it is too. There is Rap, which is, I think, over wholesale and under retail. (but don''t quote me!). Jewelers get new Rap sheets frequently, maybe weekly. I know rounds are the most expensive. A similar size and quality in some other shape would be less. Good luck...

I guess for her one of the C''s is "COAL"

Have you considered industrial diamonds?

Seriously, what does a burn on your hand have to do with typing in all caps?
If you can't use your left hand to push the caps lock key then push it with whatever body-part you are using to type the letters.

It may seem silly to you but using caps really is like screaming to almost everyone on the web.

You are seeking help form people.
I suggest you don't scream at them.

You can only really get a wholesale price if you legitimately resell diamonds.
All the advertising you see in which they say wholesale-to-the-public is lying.
Do you want to buy a diamond from a liar?

Also, stick around.
You may finally learn that when it comes to beauty in a diamond Cut is the *most* important C.
Apparently you think is the least.

All you wonderful PFers have given this person excellent advise which is not being appreciated. Why do all the work for such a rude individual?

Because we know what it is to have a dream maybe and hope that Jennifer can find what she is looking for. I have a 3.4 carat round which I was incredibly lucky to find for such a great price, I managed it by compromising on colour and clarity and getting the best cut I could, luck and knowledge had a lot to do with my 'find.' However I do realise how fortunate I was to be able to get this diamond. If Jennifer would think of maybe considering an L or M colour, possibly with some blue flourescence and a lower clarity, it might be doable, but for it to look anywhere near beautiful the cut CANNOT be compromized on in as much as she won't get a super Ideal, but if she studies cut proportions and uses the HCA to help, she might be able to find a diamond with a nice make which performs well. However this is going to take a lot of time and research to do it and maybe a lot of disappointment. But I don't think for her budget she is going to get a J VS. Diamonds with an EGL cert might fit the budget too, but not with a GIA for that money.

My thoughts exactly Mexi.

Some people act like others are there just to serve them. Newsflash, no one owes anyone else anything here on PS, least of all their time for assistance.

JenniferInLove has all the information she needs to find her own stone. Best of luck. I'm sure we'd all love to see the finished product.

PS...I also don't understand how having a burn on the hand means typing in CAPS is easier, but whatever! Maybe on another planet it is. The same planet where 3c J VS2 stones are $15k.

HI GUYS,

THANKS FOR THE RESPONCE. IF MY CAPS OFFEND YOU SORRY.MY LEFT HAND GOT BURNED AND I FIND IT EASYER TO TYPE LIKE THIS.SORRY
I REALLY APRITIATE SOME OF THE RESPONCES,THANK YOU!!!
AND SOME OF YOU GUYS REMIND ME OF THE BULLIES FROM HIGH SCHOOL,WHO ALL SUKED!
I AM OBOVOUSLY LOOKING FOR A DIMOND AS WHOLESALE AS POSS.(NOT RETAIL WAT MOST PEOPLE PAY)

I HOPE TO GET A J-VS2 FOR AROUND OR UNDER $16000 BY NEXT MONTH
I HAVE FOUND LOTS OF OTHER SHAPE DIAMONDS IN THIS DISCRIPTION BUT NO ROUND YET.

THANKS AGAIN!!!

PS: AND FOR THE DIEMOND MAFIA,NO MATTER WHAT YOU SAY I WILL FIND MY RING!!!

Silly me, I should have just paid wholesale for my ring instead of retail. Probably all you have to do is say, 'Give me the wholesale price, please.' Maybe there's a secret handshake involved.

DH is going to be so mad at me when I explain to him that we should have been paying wholesale prices all this time!

Anyway, jokes aside, I found some more great options for you. The problem was that before I hadn't broadened the search engine's table and depth percentages, so some very well priced stones weren't showing up. Here are some more ideas:

3.49 (honker!) L SI1

3.05 K VS1
