I'm new to lab diamonds and am overwhelmed by the choices and am hoping for help. I thought this would be easy, but now there are so many options for sourcing the diamonds that I'm overwhelmed.

I'm looking for a 2ct or so round for a pendant. I was hoping to spend less than 4k for a good quality lab with a 4 prong setting. Is this reasonable?
Thanks.

Hi, and welcome! I think your budget is more than adequate. My best advice for that budget and size would be to use the diamond search feature on this website. Limit it to "excellent" HCA score and look for a GCAL report that states "8X". GCAL gives you more detail on light return than an IGI or GIA report, and 8x means the diamond scored excellent on all eight measures. Adiamor is a recommended vendor here (I have not used them but you can search the threads--seems like it's all good experiences) and they have lots of GCAL-certed lab diamonds. Here are some examples, but I would ask that more experienced members weigh in on these to help you narrow them down.
Here is the search: https://www.pricescope.com/diamonds...lor=1&maxcolor=4&minclarity=4&labs_other=true
Here is one example with an excellent HCA and GCAL 8x: https://www.adiamor.com/Diamonds/2.09-ct-F-VS2-Excellent-Cut-Round-Diamond/D50645592?rfr=pricescope

I'm finding quite a few lgd with B2C jewels. Are they reputable?
