Look at this cute vintage setting

what a lovely wedding set!

I think any stone (diamond or colored gem or even pearl) would look great in that setting.

It's hard for me to tell from the pics, is it platinum/white metal?

This setting is fantastic. Platinum and diamonds are my true love. I think anything would look great in that setting, but I am partially to sapphires.

Blue zircon. Tsavorite. Moonstone. Star sapphire.

Always a fun project! Can’t wait to see what you choose.

It's really pretty. Lots of detail but delicate. Great find. I'd do a diamond myself, or sapphire.

Ooo a pearl would be so nice! Also I think zircon would be lovely

That's a big stone, no? Was gonna suggest a custom-cut tanzanite but zircon, as @lovedogs suggested above, would be great, too. Or a not-too-dark garnet.

Um, spinel, obviously! For me, it's always spinel, can't help it:lol:
This is a great setting, you can really go any way and it's going to look smashing.
What color(s) do you not have much representation of?

@ItsMainelyYou I don't think I've seen a spinel in real-life :) I don't have any pinks or purples.

I love them, they are the 'everything' stone. Any shade can be found if you look long enough. It's the tertiary color stone. Lucky as well that the most commonly found spinel colors are pinks and purples, you can find some real beauties!

With such a beautiful setting any stone that fits will look great. If you choose a colored stone is there a color or stone that you find that you wear the most?
