Look at these Numbers Please - Need Help

A friend can purchase diamonds from a wholesale co called "Namano". Anyway I was looking at two stones the other day. Problem is there is no 3rd party certificate. So here is what I do know.

1st stone:

0.78 pts
color J
SI2
5.89 x 5.93 x 3.63
$1750

2nd stone:

0.74 pts
color I
VS1
5.98 x 6.04 x 3.45
$2050

I looked at them both for a great deal of time and they looked fine to be. But I am hardly a professional. I am wary because of the lack of specs on these stones. However, I am guaranteed my money back if I dont care for them. e.g they dont appraise out.

Is there anyway to tell which one may be better from the specs described here ?

You know if you have read the tutorial that you will break every rule we suggest.
Consider buying aan Ideal-scope for the cut.
The better stone would be a safer bet.
