look-alike setting for Maevona Rora half bezel?

I have fallen in love with the Maevona Rora setting (http://www.michaelcfina.com/engagement-wedding-rings/engagement-rings/maevona-platinum-solitaire-ring-mounting-MVA9-ROR.html), but the price for it in platinum is not quite as attractive. It is do-able, but I am wondering if there is anything else out there that I would like as much for less $, and still in platinum.

What I love about it- how much of the diamond you can see from the side view, the knife edge, how delicate it seems for a bezel (most bezels I really don''t like because they are too chunky), and how there is no extra metal around the stone for the bezel part, it is just the band that tapers up and meets the stone.

The Sholdt semi bezel comes close (http://www.pearlmansjewelers.com/jewelry-designers/sholdt-jewelry/rings/08ZZ1/), but no knife edge, and also just as expensive unless I got it in palladium (which Maevona does not offer).

ETA: they offer palladium and platinum, I believe the palladium is around $900 and not sure of the platinum cost.
